Gospel says that A COMPLETE WOMAN is more valuable than precious stones. (See Proverbs, 31,10)

If we consider that the most precious stone is a Diamond, then we can think that her value surpasses that of a Diamond. Just like that, it sounds logical, since every person is more valuable than any stone no matter how valuable it is; but let’s analyze what God really wanted to tell us when he said that a COMPLETE WOMAN is more valuable than precious stones. For that it is necessary to learn more about Diamonds nature.

THE VALUE OF A DIAMOND AND THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF WOMEN

There is no doubt that a diamond is a very valuable stone that has even generated great battles, envies, and provoked the loss of lives. It is unbelievable that this stone can be so valuable when its roots are as “humble” as the charcoal, as a matter of fact, diamonds are crystallized charcoals.

It is even more surprising when we think that graphite, which is chemically equal to a diamond, is a “soft” mineral, the diamond is the strongest mineral known so far. That is the reason of its name: diamond comes from the Greek adamas that means “invincible”, because of the hardness of the mineral.

Women are like that too. There are two types of women: the graphite woman and the diamond woman:

• Graphite woman: she seems to be weak, easy to break, so sensitive that she has not learned to live her life by herself and needs to make someone else responsible for her existence. She thinks she needs to find protection and has a deep wish to be taken care of. She does not accept the reality that tells her that she is responsible for her own life. She is a model of sacrifice and passivity, she considers that femininity consists in showing weakness and sensitivity. She lives taking care of her body because she believes that she can only be accepted for her appearance. But above all she always wants to be under a man’s protection. Nevertheless she is made of the same material as the diamond woman, she has all the potential to change.

• Diamond Woman: she is more responsible of herself, she does not expect others to guide her life. She is in contact with her body and her emotions, but does not live depending only on biological functions, it is because she knows them very well, that she can see her capacities and her limitations, she knows she can love and be loved and does not want to be considered as a man’s erotic object. She stops playing a victim role that tolerates every sacrifice, she never let anybody to treat her abusively or without respect, on the contrary she knows her dignity and has a high self-esteem. Going back to Diamonds, they generally have a cubic or rhomboidal shape, but it can adopt several cubic shapes. It is not strange to find round shaped or twisted crystals. They have a wide range of transparencies and colors; the best gems are transparent. There are also white diamonds, which are very much appreciated, however if there is a yellow or chestnut brown shade it is considered as a defect. Chestnut brown diamonds are common, green and blue ones are rare; red ones are the most unusual. A diamond color depends on the presence of impurities from different elements to charcoal, that is why transparent diamonds are the most valuable since it does not have impurities. Diamonds have a rate of refraction so high that they have all the colors of the rainbow. However, some of them are not considered to be precious stones because they have gray or black stains, but they are used in the industry, specially in oil wells extraction. Diamond woman also has these variables, she can be found as rough diamonds without shine, we could even mark her with a sign: “Diamond Woman under construction, God is still working, sorry for the inconveniences”; because when diamonds have not been cut, they have an opaque appearance. We know that, in general, women have a lot of facets or sides, that is why it is very important that we realize that sometimes we are a certain type of woman, and another, one some other times, (the ideal would be to have a little of everything or be the transparent diamond woman):

• Diamond Woman stained with black or gray: the stained diamond is used in the industry, they have a semispherical shape and granulose surface. Due to their extreme hardness it is impossible to cut them, that is why they are generally used for oil wells extraction purposes or to break rocks. The same thing happens with the stained diamond woman, she is the strongest woman, she would seem so rough that it is impossible to break her, she is hard is her judgments and her points of view. This is not so bad because when she faces a hard problem, being a stained diamond woman turns out to be very beneficial for she has an unbreakable strength which helps her to overcome problems, no matter how many surprises life can bring her.

• Red Diamond Woman: this diamonds are very rare, just like red diamond women that may be the most passionate women in life, they have a great vitality so they are hard workers and enterprising, here we can find business women or those who are very successful in their professional life, they are natural leaders, though sometimes they might seem cold or calculating people or to be angry, due to their strong character. The truth is that most of them are afraid of being hurt because they have a great capacity to devote themselves to others. Some of them look unconquerable, though deep inside they have a great sensitivity and need for tenderness and love.

• Chestnut brown Diamond Woman: this kind of diamond is the most common, just like the chestnut brown diamond woman. This kind of women have a yellow touch, what do we mean by this? Well, usually, yellow is a color that can be compared with envy, jealousy, selfishness, hate, adolescence in the negative part of the meaning. A Yellow Diamond Woman is like that, she still has signs of insecurity that make her being jealous, envious, selfish and unwilling to leave adolescence, either because she is afraid or because she feels very comfortable in this stage of life. However, yellow also represents joy, light, vitality and pleasure, so it is also necessary that we can find a chestnut brown diamond woman in every woman, since this will help her to enjoy life with the same energy as a child.

• Green Diamond Woman: green Diamonds are very rare, because they are difficult to find. They are really scarce, just like the green diamond woman, because green has always meant hope. This type of woman is able to give hope to any other person regardless what kind of problem this person is going through, they can listen and are good advisers. Maybe one of their greatest problems is that they want to solve other’s problems which sometimes turn into a problem for themselves for two reasons: one is because sometimes it is easier for them to solve others´ problems than solving theirs and two is because many people do not like to receive their help. However, the most positive aspect of these women is that they are women who can easily find balance in their lives.

• Blue Diamond Women: blue Diamonds are as rare as green but they are more valuable. Just like blue Diamond Women, they are not easy to find, blue means harmony, peace, love, affection, confidence, fidelity and also means they are reserved. This type of women may show all this characteristics, maybe one more than the others, but usually blue diamond women are those who everybody wants to talk to, everybody wants to tell them their secrets, they are friends you can cry with and you know they will wisely advise you, and you know they will be loyal to you under any circumstances. The only small disadvantage is that it is difficult for them to find someone who wants to understand or to listen to them, they are so used to giving that most of the times it is hard for them to receive.

• White Diamond Woman: this kind of diamond is very valuable because, even though it is not transparent it is the closest, and the light it reflects is also very close to that of the transparent diamond, but it cannot be considered a transparent diamond and is less valuable. White diamond women are like that, they have that touch of innocence and purity (like a transparent diamond) but two things happen to them: they are so naïve that it is easy to take advantage of them, or there is something inside them, that does not allow them to reveal all the light they have inside.

• Transparent Diamond Woman: this is the most valuable diamond because it can reflect all the colors of the rainbow, it has such a transparency that every beam or ray of light makes it shine in an incredible way. The transparent diamond woman is like that, we could say she is the most integral of all, she may have different colors at one time or another, and for this reason she can extract the best from each of the personalities of diamond women. She knows how to handle her emotions and feelings and show them freely, but at the same time she has the wisdom necessary to find the right moment to do it. Being a Transparent diamond woman is the closest to be a complete woman.

What kind of woman are you? Have you already identified with any of them? Or maybe more than one, because as Jung said, as for personalities “everybody has of everything”. It is also important that we consider that some diamond women have not been adequately “cut” yet, since they are in the process of “polishing” and “carving” so it is not possible to appreciate all their qualities, just as it happens with a real diamond. Therefore the clue for all of this is self- consciousness in order to grow in our personal development and maturity to be the COMPLETE WOMAN gospel referres to, who not only reaches a certain level of maturity but also a constant process of consciousness, growth and above all recognizing the GREAT VALUE we have as a woman.

But the most important thing is to recognize that being a transparent diamond woman is not enough, we have to look forward to becoming a COMPLETE WOMAN that has been shaped by the best ROCK, by the stone that the builders rejected and has become the CORNERSTONE. (See Mathew 21: 42) It means that the COMPLETE WOMAN is the one that has opened to JESUS heart, that let HIM to model her and that wishes to do His will. Because she has found the One and Only. The One no stone can stop. He was not stopped from being merciful by the stones thrown to the adulteress by the scribes and Pharisees (See John 8, 1-11). He did not stop either when the Jewish wanted to throw stones at Him to defend our dignity as sons of God (see John 10, 22-39), He was not stopped when He gave life back to his friend Lazarus (see John 11, 1-43) and finally, He did not stopped when He did the greatest deed ever, defeat dead and move the stone of his own sepulcher (see Luke 24, 1-8).

We can say that the COMPLETE WOMAN is the one with the characteristics of the transparent diamond woman, but that also finds JESUS RESURRECTED as Mary of Magdala did. (John 20, 11-18). To find the One who lovely called His mother WOMAN (John 19, 26), because He knew that She, MARY was our best example of a COMPLETE WOMAN. Whose life is even more valuable than a diamond, because her life is placed on a FIRM ROCK WICH IS JESUS CHRIST.
