Feminine Liberation or the free and feminine part of a woman
By: Maruca Serrano de Ortega
As a Woman I am amazed when I read all that has been written about women, and the most surprising thing is what men have written in this respect; and there is still much more to write about. But it has not finished yet. Today, we continue writing about women, the whole world gets together to talk about women. Why?
Because it is undeniable that while some could write poems, others could spit out at her face. While some raise her to the level of queen, others diminish her to the level of slave. No one can deny today the terrible discrimination, women have been subject to. Taking a look to History would be enough:
During century V b.C. Euripides, signed: “One single man is worthier than 10,000 women”.
The famous Ovid, dead in century 17 a.C. “Only an excessively stupid man would feel hurt when his wife commits adultery”. And adds something else, “This man has not understood yet what good manners mean”.
Even in modern times, in Europe we can see Lucero saying: “Little girls learn how to talk and walk before boys, because weeds always grow quicker than good grass”.
Rousseau and Kant, defined women as immature, with lack of initiative, women in general do not love arts, do not understand any of them and do not have any talent at all”
Schopenhauer is considered a declared enemy of women. “Every woman tends to waste, therefore, they must be submitted to a man, even if he is her own child”.
Nietzche himself, stated that “women are comparatively worse than men”.
There are enough reasons to understand and support those movements defending women’s rights. These kind of movements and organizations have achieved a lot. But they have gone from a fair point of serious demands to a new and unfair point of excessive feminism.
For this reason, today we can see a ridiculous struggle for an equality that is not possible, for a distant liberation, very far from an authentic freedom, of a feminism far from being really feminine.
From fair Human Rights demands to unfair equality between sexes.
Liberation versus freedom
If we wanted to define the best way of being a person, we would say that a person is a human being, so intense that he/she can control his/her own essence.
Being free means being free to chose, yes, in the sense of being able to decide right or wrong. Being free is being able to control oneself, and therefore being able to reject being controlled by, vices, drugs, passions, etc
Setting free means to let out, just like that, without limits, let go. We can let a bottled liquid out by removing the cap of the bottle, in that way we can do whatever we want with that liquid, for good or for bad, with direction or not.
It is understandable…..
Yes, justifiable…… No.
If a gaseous liquid is shaken, and then uncapped without any control, it is sadly wasted.
But freedom,….. freedom is something else, much nobler, more praiseworthy, and exclusively human.
We talk about liberation referring to a captive animal.
We talk about freedom only referring to a person.
Liberation could mean an earthquake that unchains a disaster.
Freedom means being able to say yes or no, consciously.
We say yes to those movements seeking women’s freedom, demands, and equality in fundamental rights.
We say no to those movements that attack her authentic freedom and diminish her, making her believe that she is unable to control herself, to choose something that gives her more dignity and value. Freedom in its double meaning: free to choose and free to accept. Free to accept as an adult, not as a teenager
There are many things in life that we have not chosen: We do not choose our parents, siblings, the time and age of our birth, our sex and many other things.
Autonomy yes, capacity of establishing our own rules, and… those rules must be aimed to our well being, but also to others´.
What could happen around the world if each of the inhabitants “only” cared for his/her own autonomy?, Wouldn’t we call it a radical selfishness…..? and where would this radical selfishness lead us to?… to loose our peace, it means, to violence, to war.
Feminine yes, that special way of being, of feeling as a woman, typical and exclusive of women.
Feminist, understood as the breaking off of nature laws, as the enormous fracture of the same law that gave us the fundamental rights…. NO, we cannot accept it.
If feminist means to see you successful in your professional work, that would be good, very good, but, being aware that,....a woman NO ONLY can be successful in a professional work.
A feminism that is not only limited to liberation.
Because then we could ask…. WHAT FOR?…..Liberate myself?….. what for?….. To do whatever I want?, To do as I please
Yes this is very attractive, very exciting, but ………What would happen if everybody did the same? Who would study with perseverance…..? Who would raise children…..? Who would be interested in preserving a family…..? and, Who would be able to live without one?
And if it is valid to do ONLY what I want in our world, Who would work…..? Who would struggle for a better world?
Freedom is only acceptable if it makes us better people, if it helps us to fulfill ourselves, yes, and to live in peace.
And it should be an authentic feminine freedom, with its own charisma, with an special angle, of a woman, only a woman can be a mother, only a man can be a father. Only a woman can give birth and only she can love as a woman.
In the same way a man loves only as a man can love, and man will procreate as a man.
Feminine Liberation or the free and feminine part of a woman
Only you can choose, today, you are again face to face.
Today women talk about women, we have the right to speak, we decide.
Excessive liberation, sometimes unequal, sometimes extreme….. Or freedom, freedom with meaning, as a means towards a real and true fulfillment.
Feminist at all costs, or feminine and free.
Extreme feminist, or feminine and woman.
Free to choose, accept, or frustrating liberation to reject
To conclude:
Demanding legal and fair rights or DEGRADING AND IRRATIONAL EQUALITARIANISM.
FREE WOMAN OR SLAVE FEMINOID (gynoid) “YOU DECIDE”.
