The Old Age

By: Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Always have in mind that skin wrinkles

Hair becomes white,

Days become years ...

But the essence does not change,

Your strength and conviction does not have age.

Your spirit is the feather duster for any spider’s web.

Behind every arrival day, there is a departure.

Behind every achievement, there is another challenge.

While you are alive, feel alive.

If you miss what you used to do, do it again.

Do not live from yellow pictures...

Go on, although everybody expects you to quit.

Do not let rust the iron inside you.

Make others respect you, not feel sorry for you.

When years do not let you run, trot

When you cannot trot, walk.

When you cannot walk, use a walking stick…

But never stop!
