With His prayer, (Catholic Church Catechism, no. 2607) Jesus teaches us how to pray… Gospel transmits an explicit teaching of Jesus to pray. As a pedagogue, He takes us from where we are and leads us to the Father.

So, Jesus is our teacher to pray, but we also have the Holy Spirit.

“In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings” (Romans 8, 26).
